Microbiology Adjunct
Hiram College invites applications for an adjunct position in Biology to teach two in-person microbiology courses, with labs, during the Fall 2026 semester. The courses are: BIOL 23800 Medical Microbiology plus lab and BIOL 33800 Microbiology plus lab.
Requirements are: a minimum of master's degree in biology, a master's degree or PhD in related field with experience teaching introductory biology, or master's degree in related field with at least 18 hours of graduate-level biology coursework. Adjunct instructors are hired on a course-by-course basis each term. Duties are limited to teaching unless otherwise specified.
The Biology program is located within the School of Science and Technology, alongside Chemistry, Computer Science, and Mathematics.
