Job TitleSite ManagerJob DescriptionOversee all day-to-day site operations from project kickoff through completion. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient project execution. Develop and maintain construction schedules, ensuring milestones are achieved. Coordinate site activities with project managers, clients, architects, and consultants. Enforce site safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews to maintain project standards. Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to minimize delays and disruptions. Manage site logistics, material deliveries, manpower planning, and workflow coordination. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders. Support project closeout activities, punch list completion, and final turnover documentation.The Successful ApplicantA successful Superintendent should have: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor. Proven track record delivering construction projects within the New York market. Experience overseeing retail, commercial, interior fit-out, or renovation projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple trades and project priorities simultaneously. OSHA certification preferred.
