Description of the Position:
Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.
- A successful Reach Forklift Operator will be responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting.
- Load, unload, move, stock, stage, and efficiently store products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
- Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and types of products are loaded and shipped.
- Follow customer requirements and other instructions to ensure load accuracy, product stability, and the safe loading and unloading of all products.
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned equipment and operate all equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
- Unload inbound shipments and move products to designated storage locations.
- Efficiently move products from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, free of damage, and report any quality variances.
- Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
- Perform good housekeeping practices, including the "clean as you go" process.
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that cannot be self-corrected to leadership.
- Keep appropriate records and reports to maintain inventory control and security.
- Assist with physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Coordinate as necessary with Customer Service, Transportation, Maintenance, and other departments.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report noncompliance when observed.
- Observe all company safety rules and assist with enforcement as appropriate.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Ensure proper stock rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: M-F From 3:3pm - 12:00am
Hourly rate: $23/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential.
