    Job Overview

    The Manager, Private & Brand Label (PBL) Sourcing is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, supplier partnerships, and commercial agreements across the Private & Brand Label (PBL) portfolio within TE Connectivity's ACL Sector. This role ensures TE maintains a competitive, resilient, and scalable supply base that supports growth, innovation, quality, and continuity of supply. Based in Taiwan, the role serves as a primary interface with key manufacturing partners and supplier leaders, with a particular focus on passive components, switches, crystals and oscillators, and other electronic component commodities, while leading a global procurement team of approximately three professionals.

    Job Requirements

    • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to business and product roadmaps.
    • Optimize the supplier portfolio through supplier development, consolidation, expansion, and alternate sourcing strategies.
    • Identify, assess, and develop manufacturing partners based on technology, quality, cost, capacity, and operational performance.
    • Lead negotiations covering pricing, contracts, productivity improvements, capacity commitments, and long-term supply agreements.
    • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to support new product introductions and emerging technologies.
    • Drive supplier performance improvements across cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, and innovation.
    • Assess and mitigate supplier, capacity, business continuity, and geopolitical risks.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed procurement team.
    • Partner across Engineering, Quality, Product Management, Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement to deliver business results.

    What your background should look like

    • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, procurement, engineering, or manufacturing within electronics or engineered products, including significant experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing strategies in a global environment.
    • Strong sourcing and supplier-management experience in electronic components, ideally including passive components, switches, crystals and oscillators, and other related electronic component commodities.
    • Demonstrated success leading complex supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing initiatives, and cost improvement programs, supported by strong commercial judgment.
    • Strong understanding of component technologies, manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities, cost drivers, and market dynamics, with the ability to translate technical and market insights into sourcing and commercial decisions.
    • Proven ability to build and manage strategic supplier relationships from factory operations through senior supplier and executive leadership.
    • Demonstrated people leadership experience, with the ability to lead and develop teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
    • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
    • Willingness to travel regularly within Taiwan and internationally.
