Ensure compliance with DOT regulations company policy and all applicable local state and federal laws. Manage both Local and Linehaul dispatch operations overseeing routing scheduling and dispatching of drivers equipment and freight loads while ensuring efficient operations and timely reporting of activities. Maximize equipment and driver utilization to create efficiencies between terminals. Collaborate closely with Human Resources and Regulatory Compliance to maintain driver records and training. Coordinate with Repair and Maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and available for use. Work with Terminal Managers daily to plan staffing freight and equipment movement. Collaborate with Account Executives as necessary. Assist Human Resources in recruitment and retention efforts. Respect Treat people of all levels and all walks of life with respect.
