    Position Summary:

    Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers - providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with restaurant, hospitality, healthcare, and institutional foodservice customers.
    • Supports and trains customers in company systems, platforms and business solutions such as menu projects.
    • Coordinates with Sales Management on menu budgeting, sales training, and provides feedback on sales team adaptation.
    • Partners with sales team to improve customer retention and increase customer satisfaction.
    • Serves as a local point of contact for customer concerns, platform issues, and account support needs.
    • Analyzes customer engagement metrics and identifies opportunities to improve customer experience.
    • Conducts customer visits, training sessions and assists with business reviews.
    • Coordinates with various departments to resolve issues quickly.
    • Identifies selling opportunities that support customer growth and increased sales.
    • Monitors customer feedback and communicates trends to leadership and sales management.
    • Digitally proficient and comfortable navigating online platforms, PC-based applications, mobile technology, and web-based tools.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

    Required Experience: 4 - 6 Years

    Sales support, marketing, customer relations, hospitality or related area.

    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.
    • Ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demos.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to build client relationships. • Problem-solving and time management abilities.
    • Analytical thinking to assess market trends and customer needs, Preferred Education: Bachelors; Business management, sales / marketing or related area

    Preferred Experience: 6 - 10 Years
