Metrology Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

·        Perform Gage R&R studies on new variable gauging to ensure measurement system accuracy and repeatability.

·        Measure parts for Capability studies (Cp, Cpk), Engineering trials, Design of Experiments (DOE), providing data for analysis by Quality Engineering.

·        Perform physical testing of plastic injection molded products and document/report results.

·        Carry out detailed dimensional inspections to support engineers in troubleshooting mold and tooling issues.

·        Support and maintain calibration of all measurement tools and equipment that directly affect part quality.

·        Ensure all measurement activities are conducted with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.

·        Work Independently with minimal supervisor while effectively managing inspection priorities and deadlines.
