At 7:00 a.m. in Southern Pines, NC, you step onto the plant floor and start your first-pass inspections. By mid-morning, you're validating measurements, reviewing blueprints with GD&T callouts, and updating ERP/NCR records. After lunch, you might lead a quick 8D huddle on a customer return, disposition incoming supplier material with Purchasing, and compile PPAP data for a new launch. You wrap up by documenting certifications and sharing findings with the Quality Engineer and Operations.
As a Quality Technician, you help ensure every part we produce meets engineering specs and customer expectations. Your metrology expertise, problem-solving mindset, and data discipline keep our production precise and our customers confident.
