    Job Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Metals Manufacturing Engineer to support new product development and pre-commercial manufacturing activities within a medical device manufacturing environment. The role focuses on hands-on metals process engineering, process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and implementation, with a strong emphasis on Nitinol manufacturing.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support new product development and pre-commercial manufacturing activities for Nitinol and other metal-based medical devices.
    Develop, optimize, and implement metals manufacturing processes to improve quality, repeatability, and manufacturability.
    Provide hands-on technical support for troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and process issues.
    Support process transfer, scale-up, and transition toward commercial manufacturing.
    Analyze manufacturing and process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
    Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to support NPD objectives.
    Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product manufacturability.

    Required Qualifications

    Strong experience in medical device manufacturing and process development.
    Hands-on experience with metals manufacturing and process engineering.
    Direct experience with Nitinol manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
    Experience with cardiovascular, stent, orthopedic, or neurovascular medical devices is highly desirable.
    Experience supporting new product development or pre-commercial manufacturing.
    Strong technical troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
    Experience with process data analysis and engineering/software tools.
    Ability to work independently in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
    Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
