An industry-leading gold producer is seeking a hands-on Metallurgist to drive technical performance across heap leach and ADR plant operations. Operating on a desirable 4/3 schedule, this on-site role provides critical oversight of plant processes, metal recovery optimization, and inventory reconciliation. • Compensation: Tiered salary structure based directly on actual years spent at a producing gold site:

• 1-2 years of producing gold site experience: $86,000 - $90,000

• 2-6 years of producing gold site experience: $91,000 - $120,000

• Location & Work Model: On-site in Hawthorne, Nevada, operating on a balanced 4-days-on, 3-days-off work schedule.

• Relocation Assistance: Includes 3 months of transition housing to ensure a seamless move to the area.

• Growth & Impact: Work closely with the Mine Manager to lead technical innovation, streamline plant operations, and optimize precious metal extraction.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Provide direct technical guidance to Heap Leach and carbon stripping (Zadra) operations, developing stacking plans and irrigation strategies to maximize gold recovery.

• Lead daily operational troubleshooting, forecast metal production, and conduct on-site or off-site bottle roll testing to refine processing parameters.

• Reconcile metal budget inventory, monitor reagent usage, and manage process operating costs against budgetary targets.

• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensure full compliance with mine safety standards, and generate weekly, monthly, and annual production trends.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Practical operating experience on a producing gold site, with specialized technical knowledge of gold/silver heap leaching processes.

• Educational background with a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent practical operational experience.

• Capability to execute hands-on field direction, managing sampling, assaying practices, and metallurgical testing with minimal supervision.

• Functional capability to operate light vehicles in remote work areas, execute physical field duties, and manage site safety protocols.
