Metal Worker- Machine Operator/General Labor - Urgently Hiring

Proper completion of paperwork and work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer . Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training .

Machine Shop Operator

22-24$ based on experience

Dover, NH

Fulltime, First Shift, Monday-Friday

 

This job is a combination of physical labor and precision cutting using an industrial saw. Candidates need to have the ability to perform the labor and learn how to properly use the machine.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
• Packaging of material to customer requirements
• Operating a forklift to move material as needed (Preferred not Required)
• Cutting to Precise size on either a cut off saw or plate saw
• Proper completion of paperwork and work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

 

Requirements

• 1-2 years of similar job experience in a machine shop or equivalent preferred
• Regular attendance
• Basic math skills required
• Knowledge in reading measurement tools such as a tape measure or caliper
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer
• Successful candidates will be enrolled in a registered apprenticeship program as part of their onboarding and new hire training
• Ability to multitask is a plus

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis
