Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $19.50/hour

Shifts: 1st shift: Mon–Fri, 5 AM–3:30 PM / 2nd shift: Mon–Thurs, 3:30 PM–4 AM

A day in your workboots

You arrive on the floor, review the production run, and set up the press with the required materials. As the line starts, you dial in the machine, watch the gauges, and keep parts flowing. You make minor adjustments, catch defects before they travel downstream, and complete the quality and production logs that keep the team moving smoothly. Before you clock out, you perform basic care on the equipment and communicate handoff notes to your teammates.

What you'll handle

• Prepare, set up, and run production presses and related equipment
• Load raw materials; monitor throughput and part quality during runs
• Perform basic machine adjustments to maintain output and safety
• Inspect components for defects and verify to quality standards
• Document production counts and quality checks accurately
