Metal Finishing Technician

Smart Trades is hiring Metal Finishing Technicians for a metal manufacturing facility in North Salt Lake, UT! This position involves grinding, sanding, deburring, and finishing metal components to meet production and quality standards. We're looking for candidates with experience in metal finishing, fabrication, or manufacturing who are familiar with hand and power tools. Location: North Salt Lake, UT
Pay Rate: $17–$20/hr DOE
Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
4-Day Work Week | 10-Hour Shifts

Responsibilities:

• Grind, sand, deburr & smooth metal parts
• Remove welds, sharp edges & surface imperfections
• Use grinders, sanders & other hand/power tools
• Inspect finished parts for quality

Qualifications:

• Grinding, metal finishing, fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred
•  Comfortable using hand & power tools
•  Good attention to detail
•  Able to work the full swing shift schedule
