Compensation for the Dental Assistant:
- $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule for the Dental Assistant:
- General hours are approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Some days may be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
*Candidate must be flexible and comfortable staying later occasionally when needed, particularly to accommodate emergency patients.
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Dental Assistant:
- Assist the dentist during endodontic procedures and provide chairside support throughout patient treatment
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with office protocols
- Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment and help ensure they feel comfortable and informed
- Assist with general clinical and office responsibilities as needed to support the team
- Friendly, personable, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients
- Trainable, dependable, and willing to learn new skills and procedures
- Able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexible with scheduling and genuinely comfortable staying later on occasion when patient emergencies require it
- Ability to speak an additional language is a plus
