Position: MESPA III - Food Service Assistant (10 month position)

Location: Schoolcraft Elementary School

Minimum Qualifications:

• Satisfactory work performance in present job
• Applicant selected on basis of seniority
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Willing to learn basic computer skills
• Willing to become ServSafe Certified

Essential Functions:

• Preparing and serving food
• Maintaining cleanliness of sites
• Practice food safety
• Record keeping
• Follow the USDA Federal Regulations for National School Lunch & Breakfast
• Other duties as assigned

Reports To: Director of Food and Nutrition Services

Workday/Week: Monday - Friday, approximately 6.8 hours per day

• Hours can vary by daily assignment

Starting Date: ASAP

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
