We are seeking an experienced MES Architect with strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter Core to join our Supply Chain & Network Operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within complex manufacturing environments.
This role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements, develop scalable MES architectures, lead implementation activities, and provide strategic guidance on manufacturing technology transformation.
The successful candidate will combine strong MES technical expertise, solution architecture, manufacturing process knowledge, and client-facing consulting skills.
Lead discussions with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and manufacturing processes.
Translate business and manufacturing requirements into scalable MES solution architectures.
Design and architect Siemens Opcenter Core solutions in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
Lead MES activities across the full implementation lifecycle, including:
Requirements gathering
Business process analysis
Fit-gap analysis
Functional process design
Technical solution design
Data mapping
System configuration
Integration design
Testing and UAT
Deployment and go-live
Post-production support
Define functional and technical specifications for MES solutions and integrations.
Work with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, and IT stakeholders to optimize production processes.
Advise senior client leadership on MES capabilities, implementation strategies, and manufacturing transformation opportunities.
Lead MES workstreams and provide technical direction to project teams.
Coordinate onsite and offshore delivery teams and ensure high-quality project execution.
Analyze manufacturing metrics and operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Support integration of MES platforms with ERP, shop-floor, automation, and other enterprise systems.
Troubleshoot complex MES architecture and implementation issues.
Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on MES architecture, implementation, and best practices.
Contribute to practice development, knowledge sharing, solution development, and innovation initiatives.
Support pre-sales activities, proposals, presentations, and client workshops as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
5+ years of experience implementing Apriso, Siemens Opcenter, or AVEVA MES solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter, preferably Opcenter Core.
Experience leading at least 2 MES implementations and defining MES solution architecture.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%, depending on client and project requirements.
3+ years of direct experience with Siemens Opcenter, Apriso, or AVEVA platforms.
Siemens Opcenter, Apriso, or AVEVA certification.
Prior management or technology consulting experience.
Experience integrating MES with SAP, Oracle, ERP, PLM, SCADA, PLC, or other manufacturing/enterprise systems.
Experience with manufacturing analytics, OEE, production efficiency, quality, traceability, genealogy, and shop-floor performance metrics.
Experience presenting technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
Experience leading project teams in a client-service or consulting environment.
Strong experience working with distributed onsite/offshore delivery teams.

The ideal candidate is a senior MES Architect or MES Solution Architect with strong Siemens Opcenter experience and a proven track record of leading MES implementations from requirements through architecture, configuration, deployment, and production support.
Candidates who have successfully delivered multiple Opcenter Core implementations, can communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, and have experience leading client-facing MES workstreams will be highly preferred.
Approximately 50% travel may be required based on project and client needs.
Bachelor's degree required; degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Engineering Management, or Business Analytics are preferred.
