    A respected midsize law firm in the Detroit area is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney to join its corporate practice. This position is ideal for an attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience handling complex business, corporate, and M&A matters who is ready to take an active role in sophisticated transactions.
    The attorney will work closely with clients and other members of the legal team on a variety of corporate transactions, with significant responsibility for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Draft and negotiate stock purchase agreements
    • Draft and negotiate asset purchase agreements
    • Prepare and negotiate limited liability company operating agreements
    • Draft joint venture documents and agreements
    • Draft and negotiate sales agreements and other commercial contracts
    • Handle complex business, corporate, and M&A matters
    • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
    • Work directly with clients throughout the transaction process
    • Provide practical legal guidance related to corporate and transactional matters
    Qualifications
    • J.D. from an accredited law school
    • Active Michigan Bar admission
    • 4 to 8 years of experience in corporate, business, and M&A matters
    • Strong experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactional agreements
    • Experience with stock purchases, asset purchases, LLC operating agreements, joint ventures, and commercial contracts
    • Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
    • Ability to handle complex transactional matters with a high level of independence
    • Law firm or relevant corporate legal experience
