    Description

    Position Summary

We are seeking a Merchandise Specialist to own the day-to-day execution of catalog activation. This seat owns day-to-day catalog execution and the activation pipeline itself — knowing what products are waiting, where each one stands, what is holding it up, and coordinating across departments to keep products moving from arrival to live. That pipeline runs against a high-SKU catalog — roughly 7,000 SKUs in stock today.

    Key Responsibilities

    Product Setup & Launch Execution

    • Set up and launch new products and SKUs across the catalog, including OEM expansion volume, at the pace the business requires.
    • Build out taxonomy and category structure for new and existing products.
    • Complete and maintain product attributes and content — specifications, configurations (e.g., singles, 5-packs, and other formats), and descriptive fields — to the standard the Merchandise Manager defines.
    • Verify newly launched products for accuracy before and after go-live.

    Imagery & Asset Coordination

    • Coordinate the flow of product assets — photography, copy, and specifications — from arrival through to final on-site presentation.
    • Track products moving through the photography and content pipeline and flag bottlenecks.
    • Maintain product asset completeness (imagery, copy, specifications) against the standard the Manager sets.

    On-Site Merchandising

    • Execute on-site merchandising placement for new and existing items.
    • Support promotional readiness by verifying that products going into email or website promotions have complete, accurate content and correct configurations.

    Operating Rhythm

    • Own the day-to-day activation pipeline itself — knowing where every product stands, what is blocking it, and coordinating across departments to keep it moving from arrival to live, rather than waiting to be assigned each step.
    • Flag catalog data issues, gaps, or inconsistencies to the Merchandise Manager rather than resolving governance questions independently.
    • Document recurring responsibilities as clear, current operating procedures.
    • Use AI and other tools appropriately to improve throughput, documentation, and consistency.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in merchandising.
    • Direct, hands-on experience working a multi-thousand-SKU e-commerce catalog — not adjacent experience, and not experience limited to a small assortment.
    • Demonstrated ability to move product from intake to live accurately and at volume, including setup, taxonomy, attributes, and asset coordination.
    • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Magento or comparable); comfort with spreadsheets and cross-functional project tracking tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy under volume and deadline pressure.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Photography, Copy, and Marketing without close supervision on routine work.
    • Clear written communication — this role documents its own operating procedures.

This is an on-site role based in Stuart, FL. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Florida.

    What Success Looks Like

    • New products move from arrival to live quickly, accurately, and with minimal correction.
    • Product content and asset completeness hold steady as catalog volume grows.
    • Bottlenecks in the photography/copy/launch pipeline are surfaced and resolved before they affect launch timing.
    • The Merchandise Manager's time is measurably freed from day-to-day catalog throughput.
    • Operating procedures for this role are documented and kept current without prompting.
