Job Title: Merchandise Planner
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite, 4-Day/1-Day Hybrid Schedule)
Duration: 4 Months ABOUT THE TEAM This Global Direct merchandise planning team supports strategic marketplace planning for the Direct business, partnering across Merchandising, Marketplace, Sales, Finance, Sport Planning, and Geographic Planning teams to translate consumer demand into actionable marketplace strategies. This seat serves as a connective point between global strategy and marketplace execution shaping product assortments, franchise investments, seasonal priorities, and retail performance across a multi-billion-dollar global business.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON - - Global Direct Planning
- Develop and maintain a forward-looking view of marketplace demand, consumer trends, and product performance
- Partner with global and geography planning teams to build demand plans aligned to seasonal priorities and strategic business objectives
- Translate marketplace insights into recommendations that influence assortment, inventory, and investment decisions
- Drive alignment between global priorities and geographic marketplace needs
- Help Shape Franchise and Assortment Strategy
- Analyze franchise health, portfolio evolution, and category performance across multiple consumer segments and channels
- Evaluate opportunities to expand emerging franchises while reducing reliance on legacy business drivers
- Influence assortment decisions through marketplace insights, performance analysis, and consumer demand signals
- Partner with merchandising and product teams to inform future line planning and seasonal product strategies
- Support Business Reviews and Performance Management
- Support creating and updating executive-level scorecards, dashboards, and business reviews that monitor global retail performance
- Provide senior leadership with clear perspectives on performance trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Consolidate insights across the Direct business, partner marketplaces, and retail channels into a single marketplace narrative
- Support key planning forums, operating reviews, marketplace reviews, and seasonal business checkpoints
- Deliver Advanced Marketplace Analytics
- Help build scalable analytical frameworks that improve visibility into sales performance, consumer behavior, inventory health, and marketplace trends
- Leverage automation, data science, and AI-enabled processes to accelerate decision-making and reporting efficiency
- Translate complex datasets into clear business implications and strategic recommendations
- Develop tools, reporting solutions, and planning methodologies that can be adopted across the broader organization
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH - Cross-functional partners across Merchandising, Marketplace, Sales, Finance, Sport Planning, and Geographic Planning. This role covers leave coverage analysing reporting and updating stakeholders while also contributing to future merchandising-plan projects, alongside two direct-team peers who own channel-specific and product-line-specific work.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTIONS- Bachelor's degree preferred, not a hard requirement
- 3 5 years' experience in a merchandise planning role preferred
