As a member of the Park Revenue Team, the Merchandise Manager is responsible for the successful financial and operational performance of the Photo, Games and Retail programs at the park. This includes providing leadership and oversight to a team of seasonal employees to ensure quality service and operational success across multiple venues throughout the park. This also includes responsibility for revenue maximization and expense control to deliver annual financial goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Provide leadership and management support to the entire Retail, Games and Photo Department on a daily basis, taking on broader revenue assignments as necessary.
- Develop and implement the appropriate retail service training.
- Assist in the development and implement the appropriate supervisory and retail management training.
- Ensure that the overall Retail, Games and Photo operation meets the company standards including service, safety and cleanliness.
- Ensure that staffing levels are sufficient and adequate according to the various business patterns of the park throughout the year.
- Oversee the retail business aspect of any major project(s) as it relates to construction and/or renovation of facilities at the park.
- Work alongside the Director to develop the necessary business plans for the Departments including annual financial business plans, long range plans, reinvestment plans, budgets, store plans, games facility plans and so forth.
- Work closely with the property Finance Department to manage and periodically review all aspects of the business for financial success.
- Work closely with the appropriate Company Buyers and vendors to ensure that all park stores and games remain fully stocked and appropriately displayed in accordance with annual business plans.
- Supervise periodic physical inventories, ensuring location inventory and sales reports are accurate.
- Work closely with the Warehouse staff to ensure that all merchandise and games stock are properly received, distributed and accounted for, ensuring stock transfers are properly recorded.
- Fulfill duty manager requirements of on-duty manager for the Revenue Department.
- Oversee all third-party operators.
- Assist, cooperate with, and coordinate operations with other Wild Adventure divisions and departments.
- Ensure stores and games have adequate supplies for properly displaying merchandise and plush.
- Maintain inventory within guidelines as determined by the budget.
- Clean and maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas.
- Report any unsafe actions or area or any needed repairs to your direct supervisor.
- Work cooperatively with all departments, assisting as necessary.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain authorized driver status in order to operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive and friendly manner

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university) preferred
- 3-7 years’ related experience
Computer Skills
- Proficient in computer skills including: Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook required.
