Join Havertys Merchandising Team as a Corporate Merchandising Assistant, supporting our Merchants and Merchandising operations in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our Atlanta, GA corporate office. Pay: Competitive salary based on experience

Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day remote (after training period)

This is your Opportunity to:

• Own SKU setup and manage product lifecycle processes in merchandising and project management systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely product launches.
• Order and track accessory photography samples, communicating delays to relevant teams.
• Enter price changes and markdowns, resolving purchase order and product cost discrepancies weekly.
• Request and review 3D product models, supporting design consultants with model-related inquiries.
• Execute bedding sales promotions by setting up promotional pricing and ensuring accuracy across digital and internal channels.
• Collaborate with merchandising and creative teams to produce accurate store price tag signage for retail displays.
• Create weekly financial and sales reports to support business decisions.
• Investigate and resolve product or visual merchandising issues from stores and field teams.
• Maintain current fabric and finish catalogs.
• Assist merchants and merchandise support teams with reporting and special projects.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Retail or merchandising experience with strong product sensibility preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with merchandising management systems, PIM systems, or project management tools preferred.
• Working knowledge of retail math and ability to compute rates and percentages.
• Confident communicator with ability to collaborate across internal and external teams.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

• 4 days at Havertys' home office located at 780 Johnson Ferry Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30342, and 1 day remote after training.

Physical Demands:

• The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and frequent use of a computer and phone, visual acuity to read detailed information on screens and printed materials, ability to bend, stoop, and reach to access equipment and materials, proficiency to operate keyboards, mice, and other computer peripherals, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
