MEP Superintendent Opportunity

Leading ENR-ranked contractor is seeking to add an MEP Superintendent to its growing Charlotte team. Job Description

Lead and oversee all MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout. Meet regularly with subcontractors to review project progress, scheduling, material deliveries, and scope coordination. Identify and proactively address design conflicts, constructability concerns, and schedule impacts. Develop a comprehensive understanding of project drawings, specifications, contracts, and subcontractor agreements. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations. Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports. Coordinate daily with project managers, owners, consultants, tenant representatives, and field teams. Monitor quality control efforts and verify work is completed according to project requirements. Drive project schedules while maintaining strong communication across all stakeholders. Support successful project delivery on complex multifamily and commercial developments.

The Successful Applicant

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction. Proven experience managing MEP scopes on multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, or large-scale construction projects. Knowledge of the Charlotte construction market and local subcontractor network preferred. Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore. Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules. Commitment to jobsite safety and quality standards.
