MEP Project Engineer

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial, or data center construction and strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and technical document management. Assist with construction planning, scheduling, field coordination, and project engineering activities.

Project Engineer – Data Center Construction
Type: Contract + W2 benefits + per diem
Pay: $50 - $60/hr

Summary

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Data Center, Mission Critical, and industrial construction projects
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, meeting minutes, and project documentation
• Assist with construction planning, scheduling, field coordination, and project engineering activities
• Review drawings and specifications to identify design conflicts and constructability issues
• Track material procurement, project progress, and subcontractor activities
• Maintain project records using Procore, Prolog, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software
• Support QA/QC, safety compliance, commissioning, and project closeout activities

 
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in construction engineering or project engineering
• Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, or industrial construction projects
• Knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, project controls, procurement, and contract administration
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
