MEP Lead

Lead day-to-day coordination of MEP trades in the field, ensuring alignment with project schedule and sequencing. Support the planning and execution of MEP scopes from installation through testing and commissioning. Coordinate BIM/VDC efforts with the project team to ensure clash-free installation and constructability. Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Assist with review of submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation. Track MEP progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve field issues impacting schedule or quality. Support commissioning activities, including inspections, testing, and system turnover.

For the MEP Lead, we are seeking:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in MEP construction (GC or subcontractor background)
  • Strong field experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing MEP installation on active job sites
  • Familiarity with BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection processes
  • Understanding of commissioning, testing, and system turnover procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced field environment
