This is a chance to be the electrical engineer at a firm, not one of forty. CLH has architecture, mechanical, and electrical engineering under one roof in Ogden, and our electrical department head, who has decades of experience, is looking for the person who will take over the department over the next few years. You would own projects from day one, stamp your own work, and have someone with a long track record beside you as you grow into leading the discipline.

The work is varied in a way few firms can offer. In the same year you might design an Air Force facility, a Forest Service or Park Service building, a manufacturing plant, a mine, and a new motorsports venue with a welcome center, museum, and restaurants.

Case, Lowe & Hart is a full-service architecture and engineering firm based in Ogden, Utah, with mechanical and electrical engineering in house. We design for federal agencies and for private clients in manufacturing, mining, commercial, and hospitality. Because architecture and engineering sit under one roof, coordination happens across a desk rather than across a contract. We are building a new office in Ogden, and we plan to be here for a long time.

The role

You will own the electrical design of projects from schematic design through construction administration: service and distribution, power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, with the calculations, specifications, and construction documents behind them. You will coordinate daily with our architects and mechanical engineer, represent the electrical scope in owner and contractor meetings, answer RFIs and submittals, and visit sites. As you settle in, you will take on more of the department's direction, including reviewing work and setting standards.

What we are looking for:

• An active PE license in Utah, or one that transfers to Utah by comity
• Roughly five to ten years designing building electrical systems at an MEP, A/E, or design-build firm
• Projects you have owned end to end, with the NEC and energy code second nature
• Revit or AutoCAD for electrical design
• The ability to work in person in Ogden
