    Our client located in Austin, TX has an immediate need for an MEP Construction Inspector. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting a large scale healthcare construction project. Hospital or healthcare construction experience required.

    MEP Construction Inspector Role
    The MEP Construction Inspector will provide onsite inspection and quality oversight across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes for a major healthcare construction project.
    Perform field inspections across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction
    Inspect HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical, and related building systems
    Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to verify work is being completed according to design
    Monitor installation quality and identify deficiencies or noncompliant work
    Document inspection findings and communicate issues to appropriate project stakeholders
    Coordinate with contractors, engineers, project management, and other members of the construction team
    Monitor corrective work and verify deficiencies have been properly resolved
    Support testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities as needed
    Maintain accurate inspection reports and field documentation
    Ensure construction complies with applicable codes, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

    MEP Construction Inspector Background Profile
    Strong construction inspection experience with MEP systems
    10 years of hands on knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
    Hospital or healthcare construction experience required
    Experience inspecting complex commercial or institutional construction projects
    Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes
    Ability to identify deficiencies and effectively communicate corrective requirements
    Strong documentation and reporting skills
    Ability to work effectively with contractors, engineers, owners, and project leadership
    Prior experience on large scale healthcare construction projects strongly preferred
