If you are a passionate, experienced Medical Assistant or Allied Health professional who loves coaching and patient-centered care, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact. You will guide students through their learning journey, providing weekly encouragement and constructive feedback to validate their administrative and clinical skills.
Inspiring Mentorship: Guide students through personalized, weekly online sessions to keep them motivated, clarify project objectives, and ensure their deliverables meet industry standards.
Hands-On Project Support: Coach students as they navigate core hands-on projects, including:
Front-Office Reception & Triage Management
Specialty Care Pathways & Refill Operations Coordination
Clinical Patient Preparation & Infection Control Protocols
Basic Clinical Care & Standard Procedures
Diagnostic Operations: Testing, Cardiac Monitoring & Specimen Logistics
Revenue Cycle Operations & EHR Informatics Management
Medical Practice Operations & Facility Management
Applying Medical Assistant Skills in the Workplace
Education & Certifications
Healthcare Education: An associate degree, diploma, certificate, or higher qualification in Medical Assisting, Nursing, Allied Health, or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
Professional Certification: A nationally recognized certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA) is strongly preferred. Other equivalent credentials will also be considered.
Active Status: Any required professional license or certification must be active and in good standing. (An equivalent combination of hands-on healthcare experience and recognized certifications is always welcome!)
Professional Experience
2+ years of progressive, hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant, Lead MA, Clinical Coordinator, or in a comparable allied-health role.
Strong digital proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for guiding learners.
Ability to model professional workplace behavior while maintaining clear boundaries between academic guidance and clinical decision-making.
Technical Setup To deliver smooth and engaging online sessions, you will need:
A quiet, professional workspace respecting student privacy and confidentiality.
A computer with an updated OS/browser, a reliable high-speed internet connection, a webcam, and a quality headset or microphone.
