What You’ll Do
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on reviews and clinical interviews
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
  • Document all treatment activities in health care records diligently
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Use psychological counseling techniques to provide effective therapy
  • Offer crisis intervention and mental health support tailored to inmate needs
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure quality care delivery

What You Need
  • Current/active California LCSW or LPCC license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
  • U.S. citizenship required; candidates must pass background and credit investigations for ICE clearance (expedited process in place)

About the Assignment:
This role involves providing non-medical clinical mental health services within a secure correctional facility. You will deliver mental health assessments, individual therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment plan development for inmate populations, contributing to their mental well-being and overall safety.
