What Youll Do- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on reviews and clinical interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
- Document all treatment activities in health care records diligently
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Use psychological counseling techniques to provide effective therapy
- Offer crisis intervention and mental health support tailored to inmate needs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality care delivery
What You Need- Current/active California LCSW or LPCC license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
- U.S. citizenship required; candidates must pass background and credit investigations for ICE clearance (expedited process in place)
About the Assignment:
This role involves providing non-medical clinical mental health services within a secure correctional facility.
