Compensation: Starting around $60,000 base salary, with opportunity to earn 35% of collections, whichever is higher
Position Overview
A well-established outpatient neurology and psychiatry practice is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join its Fayetteville, NC clinical team. This role is ideal for a licensed therapist who wants to work in a collaborative, integrated behavioral health environment with strong internal referral support from psychiatric and neurology providers.
The therapist will provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, counseling, and other non-medical therapeutic interventions. The primary population is adults, though the practice also sees children, adolescents, couples, and families as clinically appropriate.
This is an on-site position with a mix of in-person and telehealth visits. While telehealth is a significant part of the broader psychiatric care model, therapists are expected to work from the office to support both virtual and in-person patient needs.

Patient Population
The majority of patients are adults receiving individual outpatient counseling. The practice also accommodates children, adolescents, couples, and family-based referrals when appropriate.
This is a stable outpatient population overall. Higher-acuity situations, including rare involuntary commitment concerns, are handled in coordination with the psychiatric medical team on-site.
Productivity Expectations
Full-time therapists are expected to provide approximately 36 hours of patient-facing therapy per week.

Therapists are credentialed under insurance plans that are in-network with the practice.
