What You’ll Do
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates using clinical interviews and record review
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each inmate’s needs and functioning level
  • Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention to address inmate needs
  • Document all treatment activities, assessments, and evaluations accurately in health records
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Support inmates' mental health needs through evidence-based therapeutic activities

What You Need
  • Licensure as an LCSW or LPC
  • US citizenship (required for ICE clearance)
  • Ability to pass thorough background and credit checks (ICE clearance takes 6-8 weeks)
  • Prior experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
  • Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and confidentiality standards
