What Youll Do- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates using clinical interviews and record review
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each inmates needs and functioning level
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention to address inmate needs
- Document all treatment activities, assessments, and evaluations accurately in health records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure compliance with regulations
- Support inmates' mental health needs through evidence-based therapeutic activities
What You Need- Licensure as an LCSW or LPC
- US citizenship (required for ICE clearance)
- Ability to pass thorough background and credit checks (ICE clearance takes 6-8 weeks)
- Prior experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
- Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and confidentiality standards
