Des Moines Wellness Center, part of Quadrant Health Group, is hiring Mental Health Therapists to join our growing behavioral health and addiction recovery team in Johnston, IA.

We welcome both independently licensed and eligible provisionally licensed therapists!

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mental Health Therapist, you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Perform clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Help clients develop coping strategies and achieve recovery goals.

• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.

• Collaborate with clinical professionals to coordinate treatment.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support when appropriate.

Who We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field.

• Active qualifying Iowa license or credential, such as:

  • LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker

  • LISW – Licensed Independent Social Worker

  • T-LMHC – Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor

  • LMHC – Licensed Mental Health Counselor

  • Other Iowa clinical credentials approved for the position

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Passion for helping individuals with behavioral health and addiction recovery needs.

• Availability to work full-time, on-site in Johnston, IA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mental health, addiction treatment, or behavioral healthcare.

• Familiarity with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.

• Experience providing individual or group therapy.

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).

Early-career clinicians with qualifying Iowa licensure are encouraged to apply.
