    Responsibilities

    In a multidisciplinary format and under the direction of the Manager, the Mental Health Therapist II will perform patient assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, linking, and advocacy. Maintains licensure and provides clinical supervision to interns and license eligible staff. Serves as clinical resource to other staff.

    Schedule

    FTE: 1.0

    Hours: 9:00am-7:30pm

    Days: Sunday to Wednesday OR Wednesday to Saturday

    Location: Jacksonville, FL

    Qualifications

    Education

    Required: Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy.

    Licensure/Certifications

    Required: Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist

    Training

    Required: Crisis Prevention Institute training is required within ninety (90) days of date of hire or transfer, and annually thereafter, for the Psych Unit.

    Experience

    Required: 1-2 years post-masters experience providing evaluations and psychotherapy.

    Necessary Skills

    • Ability to use a variety of psychotherapy techniques.
    • Ability to communicate and work well in an interdisciplinary environment.
    • Responds positively and flexibly to demands and deadlines.
    • Must be detail-oriented and posses strong oral and written communication and problem solving skills.
