The therapist will provide care remotely via telehealth through both individual and group therapy sessions, with a primary focus on the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Working as part of a multidisciplinary maternal health team, the therapist will help expand access to timely, evidence-based behavioral health care for women during pregnancy and postpartum.

Responsibilities
In this role, the Perinatal Behavioral Health Therapist will provide clinical behavioral health services to pregnant and postpartum women enrolled in the MOMitor program. Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, brief evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, mental health education, counseling, and ongoing assessment of treatment needs.
The therapist will provide short-term treatment remotely via telehealth through both individual and group therapy sessions, with a primary focus on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other behavioral health concerns occurring during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Treatment will incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and the therapist should have experience utilizing these modalities.
The therapist will work collaboratively with the MOMitor multidisciplinary care team to identify behavioral health needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide brief interventions aimed at stabilization, symptom reduction, and improving functioning during pregnancy and the postpartum period. For patients who require ongoing or longer-term psychotherapy following initial stabilization, the therapist will facilitate referral and transition to appropriate community-based behavioral health providers to support continuity of care.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or other related field
Experience
Required: A high level of computer literacy, including demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of Florida's Mental Health, Alcohol, and Drug Abuse laws.
Preferred: Two years of experience in behavioral health services highly desired. Previous experience with Epic or other electronic medical record system.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or PhD in Psychology
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation
Required: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
