Position Summary
  • Provide diagnostic assessments and individual counseling/psychotherapy services to a diverse caseload of clients with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance abuse.  Clinical work will occur in agency facility and community settings.
  • Provide community-based outreach, assessment, and treatment to clients participating in specialized programs.  Clients participating in specialized programs include older adults and high-acuity cases.
  • Submit necessary documentation in a timely manner; meet service delivery targets.
  • Follow up on treatment plans with clients and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Participate in training to strengthen effective delivery of services to individuals, families and groups and maintain licensure.
  • Attend division and therapist meetings.
  • Participate in peer review and submit reviews in a timely manner.
  • Participate in division and/or agency team, committees, task force or projects as designated.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Be knowledgeable of and follow division and agency policies and procedures.
  • Follow code of ethics appropriate for licensure and/or certification.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
What We Value in our next Therapist
  • Ohio licensure in social work or counseling. Independent license is preferred.
  • Foundational competency in working with older adults, high-acuity cases, and diverse populations.
  • Master's degree in social work or counseling.
