Mental Health Technician III - Middleton This position is located at our Middleton Group Home in Dothan, Al Week 1: 7p-7a Mon, Thurs, Fri Week 2: 7p-7a Tues, Weds, Sat, and Sun. **$2.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL & HOLIDAY PREMIUMS AVAILABLE** Responsibilities: - Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
Requirements: - HS Diploma/GED
- Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
- Good MVR and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
- Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
