Description

Mental Health Technician I - PRN/Relief Staff

The Relief Mental Health Tech will work on a part time, PRN schedule.

Relief Staff may cross train in our residential and day treatment programs.

Shift times vary based on program needs

Base Pay: $13.00/hr

$2 Shift Differentials & Holiday Premiums Available

Responsibilities:

Various patient care activities- i.e., meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with laundry
Ensure the efficient operation of the facility
Teaching group and individual basic living skills
Providing transportation for consumers using system vehicle when required by the program
Assisting consumers with medication under the MAC certification, supervised by the MAS nurse
Performing required documentation in an electronic record system

Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED
Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check
Previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse setting is preferred
