At Holistic Community Therapy, we provide structured, community-based and virtual mental health services for adults. Our work involves comprehensive assessment, clinical formulation, and functional treatment of complex mental health presentations within an insurance-based outpatient model.
Mental health remains a small specialty area within OT. This role is best suited to someone who wants to build depth in that part of practice over time.
Our client population includes individuals from historically marginalized communities. We value cultural humility, lived experience, and clinicians who reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
This is a full-time clinical home — a place to go deep and grow, not a stepping stone to private practice or a side caseload. If that's what you're looking for, you'll fit right in.
You may be early in your career, or you may already have experience and be looking for a role where mental health work is taken seriously.
You'll likely fit well here if you:
This role tends to suit clinicians who value structure, steady growth, and meaningful long-term work with adults living with complex mental health challenges.
As a Mental Health Occupational Therapist at Holistic Community Therapy, you will:
This is a salaried, full-time position. Clinicians work within a structured, supported caseload, with steady predictability in their week.
This is a full-time, caseload-based role built around a 36-hour week — not the standard 40. We measure a completed caseload rather than hours, so a clinician who works efficiently keeps the time they save. For people who want to do meaningful clinical work and still have a real life outside of it, that's the point.
Base pay is $72,000–$84,000 for a 36-hour week. Because that's four hours shorter than a standard 40-hour schedule, it's roughly equivalent to $80,000–$93,000 at 40 hours.
While our compensation may differ from larger systems, this role offers something many larger settings do not: close supervision, visible growth, and the chance to build true specialty depth in adult mental health OT.
Holistic Community Therapy is a growing, specialized mental health practice serving adults in Portland, Oregon through community-based and virtual care.
We are structured, clinically focused, and committed to advancing what Occupational Therapy can do in mental health.
You will not get lost in a large system here.
Your work matters.
Your development matters.
Your clinical growth is visible.
We are building something intentional and looking for clinicians who want to keep growing in thoughtful, accountable practice.
If this role feels aligned with the kind of clinician you want to become, we'd be glad to hear from you.
