An employee in this class has primary responsibility for planning, organizing, and carrying out for the Bureau of Corrections Mental Health Program, a program which emphasizes preventive aspects as well as treatments. An employee in this class has primary responsibility for planning, organizing, and carrying out for the Bureau of Corrections Mental Health Program, a program which emphasizes preventive aspects as well as treatments. The Coordinator of Mental Health is administratively responsible to the Medical Director or head psychiatrist. Supervision is received in the form of periodic conferences and by analysis of reports submitted, to ascertain effectiveness of the program.
