What Youll Do
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments with inmates based on records and interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Document all treatment and evaluations accurately in health records
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive mental health information
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health assessments as required
- Demonstrate knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and theory
- Support inmate mental health through appropriate and compassionate care
What You Need
Required:
- Current licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Experience with mental health evaluations, treatment planning, and crisis intervention
- US citizenship and social security card for facility clearance
- Flexibility to work the scheduled days and hours
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in correctional or similar secure environments
- Strong communication and documentation skills
