The University of New Hampshire Psychological and Counseling Services (PACS) invites applications for a mental health clinician position. We are seeking a master level clinician with demonstrated clinical skills who is ready to serve the mental health needs of graduate and undergraduate students. We seek a clinician who has demonstrated competencies in brief treatment modalities, group counseling, and crisis management. Responsibilities include providing individual and group psychotherapy, crisis and case management, campus outreach/consultation, and training of doctoral interns. Previous work in college counseling is preferred. PACS works closely with Health & Wellness and Student Accessibility Services to provide coordinated services for students. Duties/Responsibilities

Conduct brief and extended intakes and risk assessments, provide individual therapy, group counseling, and urgent care treatment.
Use current nationally and internationally recognized diagnostic systems to assign diagnoses, utilizing appropriate empirically validated measures.
Develop and implement treatment plans based upon current best practices.
Document treatment in a timely and comprehensive manner.
Refer off campus for specialized treatment, and/or intensive long-term therapy as appropriate.
Provide clinical services consistent with current professional and ethical standards and local, state and federal laws.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends in collegiate mental health.

Participate in staff meetings, case review, and professional development.
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Provide training seminars for predoctoral level trainees.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, including but not limited to committees both within the counseling center and in the greater university as assigned.

Provide outreach programming services for the campus community.
Conduct workshops and programs designed to address the needs and/or concerns of students, faculty and staff.
Serve as consultant to faculty, staff and students on matters relating to the well-being of students.

Compensation Pay Range:
$52,520.00 - $93,640.00
