Summary 
The Mental Health Clinician position is full-time and works out of the Chico CA office. The Clinician will provide mental health services to children and families within the Wraparound Program, in the Butte County area. The clinician will work with a team of professionals to provide evidence-based treatment to children and families who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other adverse experiences. The clinician will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy, and monitoring progress.

Education and/or Experience
  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited two-year graduate school or program in social work, psychology or a related field; prefer prior clinical experience as a paraprofessional or an intern.
  • Must possess a registration or intern number for an Associate Clinical Social Worker or a Marriage, Family Therapist Intern, in the State of California as established by the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.  Enrollment in a Ph.D. or Psy.D program in clinical psychology from an accredited college or university may be substituted for an intern number.  Incumbents must obtain registration with the California Board of Psychology within one (1) year of appointment to this position.  An Ed. D and five (5) years of experience and on licensure track as a psychologist may be substituted for the Ph. D or the Psy.D.
  • Must possess State of California Driver's license in good standing
The estimated base pay for Clinician I (Unlicensed) is $28.75 to $34.00, for Clinician II (unlicensed with work experience) is $30.00 and $36.00, and Clinician Licensed is $32.00 to $42.00.  Additional individual compensation may be available. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefit program is available for qualifying position.
