Job Summary
The County of San Diego is currently accepting applications for the position of Mental Health Case Management Clinician. As a Mental Health Case Management Clinician, you will provide case management services for voluntary and involuntary clients who are diagnosed with mental illness.

The ideal candidate will:
Required Education and Experience
An Associates of Arts degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field AND six (6) years of experience in a mental health setting providing case management services to individuals with serious mental illness. Two (2) of which must be post Associates of Arts degree clinical experience.
Alternatively, a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field, AND four (4) years of experience in a mental health setting providing case management services to individuals with serious mental illness.

Evaluation and Selection Process
Qualified applicants will be placed on a six (6) month eligible list based on scores received during the evaluation of information contained on their employment application and supplemental questionnaire. Please ensure all information is complete and accurate as the responses you give will be scored using an automated evaluation system.
Condition of Employment
As part of the County of San Diego's pre-employment process, prospective candidates will undergo a background check (including fingerprinting) and a pre-employment medical screening prior to beginning County employment.
