  • Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem mental health associate RN to work the dayshift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 6 (Voluntary Psych/Dual diagnosis for psych) with 28 beds.
  • We understand the unique recovery challenges of people with co-occurring disorders and treat both conditions at the same time. That's why people with both a mental health and substance use disorder receive specialized care at Princeton House. Outcomes show that this approach reduces the risk of relapse and improves the chances of long-term recovery.

Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ).

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
  • The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Required to work one 11pm-7:30am shift a week.

What We Require for this Role:

Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (required).
  • Education specialization: Social Science preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range:

$18.11 - $28.86/Hourly
