Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full time MHA (mental health associate) to work the evening shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Wing 5 (Involuntary Psych/Committed Unit) with 20+ beds.

As part of Penn Medicine Princeton Health, our behavioral health services are backed by the medical capabilities and high-quality standards of one of the most comprehensive health systems in New Jersey. Patients also have seamless access to Princeton Medical Center if serious medical needs arise.

Location: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road Princeton NJ)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• The Mental Health Associate assists Registered Nurses in providing direct psychiatric and medical care to patients.
• The Mental Health Associate participates as a member of the treatment team in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.

Scheduling Requirements:

• Required to work 5 evening shifts (3:00PM-11:00pm) a week including every other weekend and every other holiday.

What We Require for this Role:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science (required). Education specialization: Social Science preferred.
• LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license in employee's state of residence with a record in good standing required.

Salary Range: $18.11 - $28.86/Hourly As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
