Men’s Services Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION Department: Client Services Reports to: Men’s Services Director FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Status: Part-Time (21 hours) Schedule: Thursday 8:30-4:30, Friday 8:30-4:30, Saturday 8:30-1:30 Position Summary: The Men’s Services Coordinator supports the Men’s Services Director in the overall function of Choices’ men’s services, including meeting with men facing pregnancy situations, facilitating fatherhood related classes, training and managing volunteers, and assisting in connecting clients to resources in the community. Supervisor: The Men’s Services Coordinator reports to the Men’s Services Director. There will be a yearly written and oral evaluation as well as regular one-on-one meetings. Qualifications: - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. - Ability to provide support and guidance to clients from various backgrounds. - Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is accountable to a local Bible-believing church. - Agreement with Choices’ Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and policies of the organization, and is committed to - the Ministry of Choices. - Strong commitment to the sanctity of human life and biblical sexual ethics and have a sincere desire to reach and help at-risk patients considering abortion. - Proven management skills including, problem-solving, clear communication, excellent administrative skills, the capacity for motivation and able to provide constructive feedback. - Effectively manage assigned projects, carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision and complete tasks as required. Responsibilities: Men's Services Duties - Maintain a visible and welcoming presence at Choices by building meaningful relationships with male clients, providing support, encouragement, and education throughout their engagement. - Facilitate fatherhood-focused educational classes for individuals, couples, and groups. - Conduct intake appointments for English- and Spanish-speaking clients to assess needs and determine appropriate placement in the Earn-While-You-Learn (EWYL) or Beyond Basics Parenting (BBP). - Assess client needs to provide appropriate referrals, spiritual encouragement, resource navigation, and individualized goal-setting support. - Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, and support of male volunteers. - Support the development and execution of strategic planning initiatives by helping shape departmental goals, priorities, and performance objectives aligned with organizational vision and operational needs. - Collaborate in the development of donor-facing client content, including stories, prayer requests, and patient comments, ensuring appropriateness and confidentiality standards are maintained. - Maintain strict confidentiality and sensitivity when handling client information. - Proactively manage any assigned projects and all other duties the Men’s Services Director assigns. Administrative Duties - Prepare materials for new clients before appointments; after meeting, create their charts, schedule them for a return visit to the specific parenting program, and complete administrative duties. - Provide administrative support for Men's Services, including filing, copying, organizing materials, and maintaining departmental resources. - Audit and maintain client files for accuracy and compliance. - Manage communication professionally and promptly through phone, text, email, Microsoft Teams, and other approved communication platforms. - Complete assigned client follow-up activities in a timely and professional manner. Community Relations: - Cultivate relationships with churches, community organizations, and partner agencies to strengthen volunteer recruitment, increase awareness of Choices' mission, and establish collaborative partnerships and referral opportunities. - Represent Choices professionally at churches, community events, and other outreach opportunities as requested, serving as an ambassador for the organization's mission and services. General Staff Duties: As requested by supervisor, Client Services Director, or CEO: - Attend staff meetings - May require occasional travel to attend ongoing training and conferences. |
