    Description

    The Memory Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the memory care neighborhood within the memory care community. This role ensures residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other cognitive impairments receive compassionate, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. The coordinator supervises memory care staff, develops engaging programs,  and collaborates with families.

    Prior experience with Memory Care residents required

    Minimum Requirements:
    •Must be in good mental and physical condition and willing to work with residents.
    •Must possess ability to cooperate and motivate staff.
    •Prefer some training in arts and crafts.
    •Must have an understanding of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of the residents.
    •Must have the ability to plan and organize recreation programs under the direct supervision of the
    Recreation Director.
    •Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition and be able to handle residents based on the maturity level under which they are currently functioning.
