The Detroit Regional Chamber is looking for a motivated, results-driven Membership Sales Manager to join our team in Detroit. This full-time sales position offers a $50,000 base salary plus monthly commission and bonus opportunities. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Membership Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of growing the Chamber's membership and building relationships throughout the Southeast Michigan business community. Your primary focus will be new membership sales and prospect development.

You'll:

• Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective Chamber members.
• Identify new leads through prospecting, referrals, networking, and community involvement.
• Build relationships with business leaders and help them understand the value of Chamber membership.
• Manage prospective members from initial contact through the sales process.
• Partner with the engagement team to support a smooth transition from prospect to new member.
• Maintain accurate prospect and sales activity information within Chamber systems.
• Establish and work toward individual sales goals in partnership with the resource development team.
• Attend Chamber events, committee meetings, and networking opportunities throughout Southeast Michigan.
• Represent the Chamber in the business community and continuously identify new opportunities to grow membership.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of sales experience with a proven record of meeting goals
• High school diploma or equivalent
• General computer and CRM proficiency
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organization and time-management skills
• A proactive, goal-oriented approach to sales
• Ability to build relationships with a wide range of business professionals
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to travel throughout Southeastern Michigan region
