    Member Services Representative – Financial Services
    We are seeking a friendly, service-driven Member Services Representative to join a financial services team. This position will assist members with day-to-day account needs, answer questions, process service requests, and provide information on available financial products and services. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, is detail-oriented, and can confidently handle multiple member requests in a fast-paced environment.
    What You’ll Do
    • Assist members by phone, email, and in person with account questions and service requests.
    • Provide accurate information regarding accounts, products, services, and loan options.
    • Assist with wire transfers, account withdrawals, account inquiries, check requests, and online banking issues.
    • Process unsecured loan applications, including credit cards and lines of credit, as well as secured loan applications when needed.
    • Research account issues, including check and statement copies, misapplied payments, forgeries, and other account documentation.
    • Respond to member email requests and troubleshoot online banking questions.
    • Identify opportunities to introduce members to additional financial products and services that may meet their needs.
    • Provide exceptional service while handling sensitive and confidential financial information.
    • Assist in the lobby as needed, including scheduled Saturdays.
    • Support department projects and other member-service needs as assigned.
    What We’re Looking For
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Previous banking, credit union, financial services, customer service, or cash-handling experience is a plus.
    • Strong customer/member service and communication skills.
    • Comfortable assisting members by phone, email, and face-to-face.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle financial transactions and confidential information.
    • Good problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
    • Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to work occasional Saturdays and overtime when needed.
