Pay Range: $18 - $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare pre-closing Loan Quality Initiative requirements and conduct credit analysis.
- Ensure accurate closing and funding of mortgage loans using the Prime Alliance LFC system.
- Assist with initial member contact via incoming calls and application processing through the Prime Alliance loan origination system.
- Represent the Mortgage Department at Credit Union events, seminars, and special projects.
- Meet deadlines and assist with production goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience is preferred.
- Previous mortgage lending experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Client, NCUA, and AAFCU Mortgage Lending Guidelines is a plus.
- Experience with Residential Mortgage Closing and Funding is preferred.
- Proficiency in PC software including Desktop Underwriting, Prime Alliance, and Episys is preferred.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work well under deadlines and in a high-volume environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
