Member Service Representative

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and providing exceptional service through phone, email, and chat. Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check, Credit Check (client will consider results individually), Drug Screen and Education Verification.

We’re looking for Member Service Representatives to join a fast-paced banking and financial contact center team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and providing exceptional service through phone, email, and chat. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential to become permanent after 6–9 months.


Key Responsibilities

• Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
• Provide support via phone, email, and online chat
• Perform account maintenance including transfers, payments, and updates
• Troubleshoot basic digital and technical issues; escalate complex concerns
• Document interactions accurately and follow established procedures
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with team members and escalate feedback as needed
• Complete required compliance training and follow policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume call center or customer service role AND/OR banking/financial services 
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using multiple computer systems and digital tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Ability to work onsite and remotely as business needs require

Hours/Location/Pay/etc.:

• Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm & Saturday, 8:30am-2:30pm *Saturday Shifts are rotated between staff
• Role is 100% onsite 
• Pay is $18/hr while temp
• Role is Temp-to-Hire (will hire in 6-9 months depending on performance)
